The whole story is emotionally charged and you will be constantly sighing and heaving with tears. If I Stay is a true testament to the power a single person can hold and what a lifetime of love and memories can offer. Must be a glitch that the publishing people did not bother to fix? Hmm. Maybe we should ask Gayle Forman. The story is FAR from Twilight; but the funny thing is, I thought of Bella when I saw the US paperback cover. So maybe the publishing peeps were trying to appeal to Twilight fans.Rockeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05002888522640718015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3922517209932787954.post-53395673160446466402011-09-16T16:15:43.846+10:002011-09-16T16:15:43.846+10:00I just finished If I Stay a few weeks ago, and I d...I just finished If I Stay a few weeks ago, and I didn't know it had so many beautiful covers. The Dutch cover does look very artsy; but, again, a bit old and far off from the actual story. The US paperback is pretty nice, but my favorite cover is still the US hardcover. I've mentioned it on my review how it's so simple, yet beautifully done. It's like that pink flower/rose (?) represents Mia, and the snowy branch represents the world around her. I already bought a copy of Where She Went and I can't wait to own a copy of If I Stay next. I think you should go with the US paperback or hardcover since both best represent the book as a whole:)Rockeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05002888522640718015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3922517209932787954.post-4273499482659725992011-03-28T09:17:57.135+11:002011-03-28T09:17:57.135+11:00Hungarian cover: http://www.cicerokonyvstudio.hu/E...Hungarian cover: http://www.cicerokonyvstudio.hu/Elokeszuletben/?Konyv=Ha_maradnekBorostyánhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14149037528221622254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3922517209932787954.post-15177518159693522142010-11-17T18:03:02.883+11:002010-11-17T18:03:02.883+11:00TO ANONYMOUS: FEEL FREE TO LINK THE POST :)TO ANONYMOUS: FEEL FREE TO LINK THE POST :)Nomeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07995363401476834241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3922517209932787954.post-62689154629847824592010-06-21T10:02:31.529+10:002010-06-21T10:02:31.529+10:00yeah, there are lots of similarities with The Love...yeah, there are lots of similarities with The Lovely Bones. This will sound odd as it's a tactile thing, but the US cover was printed on matt paper and it reminded me of art class paper so I vote that one. And the blue really made it stand out. I guess I'll have to pick it up.
