  3. Ahh I love the inky's. They make me wish i was young enough to vote :)

I'm hoping GOLD goes to Good Oil, Graffiti Moon or Black Painted Fingernails, but mostly Graffiti Moon!

SILVER I'd be happy with Dash and Lily, Where She Went or Anna and the French Kiss. Loved them all.

  7. That list is awesome. YAY for Graffiti Moon, Good Oil and Graffiti Moon. Although I think Graffiti Moon is going to win The Golden Inky. It is just too awesome not to.

And I hope Where She Went wins The Silver Inky.

  8. Still patiently awaiting Graffiti Moon's release in the slow moving Aussie release in the US, but I like several of the books on the Silver list. Our Twain and Truman awards in my home state are nominated by students, teachers, and librarians, but the winners are chosen by students only. Very cool!

  11. I don't even think I've heard of any of the Aussie ones, which makes me sad, because you guys seem to have really awesome books.

  14. Ooh! They've got a great list!

I hope the Gold goes to Graffiti Moon. Or Good Oil - that was fun as well. I wasn't a fan of Black Painted Fingernails, and I'm about to start All I Ever Wanted and This Is Shyness.

And I'd really like Silver to go to Dash & Lily. Such a hilarious book!

  15. What awesome titles. I haven't read any for the golden award although I have several on my TBR list. Just can't get my hands on them. Crossing my fingers for Anna. Also kind of curious - some of these were published a couple years ago. Like Marcelo was pubbed in 2009. Is this award not limited to books published within that year? Or are they on the list because they were only released in Australia that year?
